Karlie Redd is out of legal hot water now that the $1 million dollar lawsuit has been thrown out of court in the suit filed by a rapper who accused her of sharing false accusations of him raping her and ruining his reputation, The JasmineBrand reports.
The case had been dismissed due to rapper, Christopher Powe, aka Pharaoh, failing to serve Karlie Redd with the legal papers.
Pharoah, who admits to previously having a relationship with Karlie, claims that everything took a left turn after the two had a fight in a hotel room and she went crazy. As The JasmineBrand reports:
“He filed a police report stating the two were in a romantic relationship and got into a fight while at an ATL hotel. Powe claimed Redd was drunk and went crazy, even threatening to spread lies about him raping her.
Powe said he tried to leave the room but she locked herself in the bathroom with his stuff – including 2 phones – and said she was going to flush them.
He ran to get hotel security but when they got to the room she was gone and she left his stuff in the room safe. Redd responded, saying she feared for her safety and caught him taking pictures of her sleeping, which he was trying to cover up.”
Now that Karlie is in the clear, she can breathe a little and focus on her current relationship with “Black Ink Crew” Caesar.
