The top 10 sneakers of 2018 have finally been released and there are some shockers to brands that didn’t make it on the list.
We’re only less than halfway through the year and the top 10 sneaker list has already been revealed.
This year, there have been so many heavy hitter sneaker releases that sneakerheads should be in over their head with their collections.
Surprisingly, there are a few brands and sneakers that didn’t make the list. But there is a really good reason why.
Sports industry analyst Matt Powell of the NPD Group released ranked the shows based on dollar sales.
Sneakers like Virgil Abloh’s Off-White x Nike “The Ten” collection or Kanye West’s Adidas Yeezys, the limited-edition nature of these sneakers were expected to be on the list. But given their price point, it would make sense that they were left off.
Surprisingly, all ten spots are occupied by Nike-owned labels including Jordan Brand and Converse. While Adidas and Reebok did step their game up, they didn’t go hard enough.
Take a look at all 10 sneakers that made the list below and let us know what you think.
