11-Year-Old Kills Teacher & Himself In Mexico School Shooting
An 11-year-old student went on a shooting rampage at a school in northern Mexico, killing a teacher and injuring six other people before turning the gun on himself.
BBC News reports that the incident happened at the private Colegio Cervantes school which is located in the city of Torreón in Coahuila. As of now, the motive for the violence is not known as school shootings are very rare in the city.
The young boy has not been identified, but, he was described as a good student who lived with his grandmother and had normal behavior.

Mayor Jorge Zermeño told Milenio TV that the boy had two guns in his possession, however, it is not clear how he got them.
“He told some classmates, ‘Today is the day,’ ” said Gov. Miguel Angel Riquelme.
Around 8 a.m., the student asked to use the boom and 15 minutes, a teacher discovered him with two weapons.
“We never would have imagined that a situation like this could occur in our society,” the post said, adding that school officials were working with investigators.
