Reportedly, model Kendall Jenner realized $200,000 of jewelry was stolen from her Hollywood Hills home around 1 a.m. Thursday morning.
The 21-year-old model called police and was frightened someone was still in the house. The incident, which was initially thought to be a burglary, is now starting to look like more of an inside job, cops report.
Moreover, the police arrived and conducted a thorough search of her property, but found no suspects or evidence of forced entry.
However, law enforcement sources reported that Jenner was actually having a party with a group of friends on Wednesday night. During the night, an alarm warning went off when someone opened a door, but Kendall apparently thought nothing of it.
The source also says that Jenner left her friends in her home around midnight, and when she returned just after 1 a.m., she found her jewelry box open, and that’s when she called the police.
Police are now believing that the thief knew exactly where Jenner keeps her jewelry, and that if they were invited as a guest, it’s a theft and not a burglary.
This unfortunately is not the first time Kendall has been the victim of a crime. Back in August 2016, a stalker managed to make his way up the driveway of her home and make contact with her.
She was granted a permanent restraining order against Shavaughn McKenzie, who was accused of following the runway model and repeatedly knocking on her car window on August 14.
