A Virginia man who admitted to being a pedophile and did time in jail for threatening to kill former President Barack Obama is running for US Congress because he feels he resonates with voters who are “tired of political correctness.”
37-year-old Nathan Larson is an independent candidate who supports white supremacy, pedophilia and violent rape, according to the Huffington Post.
“A lot of people are tired of political correctness and being constrained by it,” he said. “People prefer when there’s an outsider who doesn’t have anything to lose and is willing to say what’s on a lot of people’s minds.”
Larson is a candidate for Virginia’s 10th congressional district and despite never being convicted of pedophilia, he did serve more than a year in federal prison after he threatened to kill President Obama in 2008.
Larson works as an accountant in Charlottesville, VA and has admitted that he previously started two online chat rooms that catered to like-minded pedophiles and misogynists. He also sent out several disturbing posts where he bragged about choking and raping his late ex-wife, Babe.net reported.
His campaign site shared an IP address with the child rape forums before they were all magically terminated Tuesday by the domain host, according to the Huffington Post. His campaign site makes mention of wanting to legalize incestuous marriages.
Larson also sympathizes with men who identify themselves as involuntary celibates, or incels – saying that it was unfair that they are “forced to pay taxes for schools, welfare and other support for other men’s children.”
During his interview, Larson clarified his advocacy for pedophilia.
“It’s a mix of both,” Larson told The Huffington Post. “When people go over the top there’s a grain of truth to what they say.”
