Nearly a decade later, Tallahassee rapper, T-Pain has finally released he and NOLA rapper, Lil Wayne’s joint album, ‘T-Wayne.’
The collaborative project, first teased back In 2008 following their track “Can’t Believe It,” has officially come to fruition; including eight featureless “lost files from ’09,” that give us a dose of sweet soul snatching and auto-tuned nostalgia.
In a tweet posted Wednesday night, T-Pain captioned the cover art with “Do it?” And 24 hours later, via his Soundcloud, he did.

Furthermore; as for the reason behind the release; he explained the unreleased tracks were still chilling on his hard drive, prompting him to announce the long-overdue drop.
This ain't for y'all new niggas. These the lost files from '09 and I'm tired of em just sittin on my hard drive. #FreeC5

‘T-Wayne’ includes zero features, just the two rapper/singers exchanging verses on smooth R&B-leaning tracks like “Snap Ya Fangas” and hard hitting auto-tune heavy records, like “Breath.”
With very little signs given to indicate the release of their own long-delayed solo projects, ‘T-Wayne’ should hopefully hold us over for a bit.
