Azealia Banks Calmly Pleads Guilty In ‘Boob-Biting’ Case
After three years, Azealia Banks finally resolved her club bouncer boob-biting case Tuesday, pleading to a violation after completing an anger management program.
The 26-year-old entertainer was on her best behavior as Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Angela Badamo dismissed her misdemeanor assault conviction.
“Yes,” Banks told Judge Angela Badamo when asked to admit her guilt in the incident outside Meatpacking club Up & Down, where she chomped down on a female bouncer’s breast. Banks will also have to pay a $120 surcharge and abide by an order of protection, according to Page Six.
Now that this is over, Azealia can put all her focus on her music again. Just recently, Azealia shared that she signed a $1 million dollar deal with Entertainment One.
“I’m now officially signed to E1 Entertainment!!” she wrote in the caption for her post, which includes audio of her celebrating her obvious win. “I HAVE A HOME AGAIN… I’m crying 😢. The Industry left me out on the street like a stray dog and now I have shelter again. This is really making me cry I’m so happy and grateful and thankful for all of this and I promise I’m going to make the KUNTS so proud. Thank you guys so freaking much you don’t know how much this means to me @eone_music @williamrobillardcole.”
As exciting as that sounds, we hope she can stay out of trouble for the sake of her career.
