Beyonce’ Makes Emotional Speech At Her Home Church In Houston Honoring Hurricane Survivors

Beyonce’ stayed true to her ‘Queen Bey’ title by returning to her home state, to show love to Hurricane Harvey survivors, Friday afternoon.

The singer stopped by her home church in Houston, St. John’s United Methodist Church downtown.

In tow was her daughter Blu Ivy, her mother, Tina Knowles and Destiny’s Child band mate, Michelle Williams.

 

The singer was emotional as she comforted victims of the Hurricane, saying she loved them and was happy to see that everyone was safe.

“Houston is my home,” said Beyoncé. “The the thing that really matters is your health and your children and your family and you’ve got it, and I just want to say I love you.”

The 36-year-old cling’d to her mother on stage as she also addressed the crowd.

In addition, the Knowles family worked close with their foundation BeyGood as they served food to those devastated by the storm.
