Nicki Minaj and Safaree sent social media into a storm this week with their Twitter beef. The back and forth tweeting soon escalated to the topic of Safaree’s fake hairline, that Nicki claims she bought.

Jason says he loves Nicki and that “Queen” is a great album, but, he can’t listen to it straight through like Cardi B’s album. However, Jason adds there is so much “sneak dissing” in Nicki’s album that it downplays the greatness. Not to mention an artist claims that Nicki stole her music for her song “Barbie Dreams.”

Our hosts believe that Nicki should embrace women uniting and do a song with Cardi to shut down all the beef and involve all the other upcoming female rappers, but, it will not happen until Nicki humbles herself.

You know our hosts had a lot to say about Rozay. Torrei had to ask if he brought gravy to the bedroom! Fortunately, Elise says she never had “food sex.” She also reveals that she had dated a few artists on their rise.

This week Project Youngin’ takes the hot seat, following his controversial music video release where he was shot on Instagram live. Many believe the “fake death” was a ploy to “clout-chase”, especially following the murder of XXXtentacion.

Youngin’ says it was just a video to promote his music and to share the message that we should pay attention to people while they are here and not until they die. He adds that people love cinematic videos and the views get paid, that’s all that matters. However, our hosts say they can’t respect the whole idea of “pulling stunts”, and that it’s important to think of the longevity of your career.

Project Youngin’ opens up about growing up in a group home from the age of 15, and how he didn’t’ stop going to school and succeeding. He graduated high school with a 4.2 GPA, but couldn’t’ stay at college for more than a year due to financial issues. He still has to take care of his family and his way out is his music.

Hollywood Unlocked was in the building for “Trina’s Kid’s Foundation” back to school summer event, where over 200 kids showed up.

The Foundation has a mission to promote healthy and positive experiences by collaborating with organizations and charities for children. TKF believes in helping the communities around us and ensuring children grow up with all the essential tools for a successful future.

Sunday’s family event featured gifts for the kids, including school supplies and Vans! They were able to get haircuts, food, participate in painting and many other fun activities.

Hollywood Unlocked got the founder of TKF Vince Ricci to open up about his story and inspiration behind the foundation, detailing his childhood and why he named the foundation after his mother.

While wrapping up the fourth and final day, NBA Champion Matt Barnes and Hip-Hop legend Snoop Dogg hosted the 5th Annual Athletes vs Cancer Celebrity Flag Football Game at Fairfax High in Los Angeles on Sunday (Aug. 12).

In addition to the event hosts, hitting the field for a cause were Rotimi, Shawne Merriman, Terrell Owens, Kevin Durant, Baron Davis, Draymond Green, DeAndre Jordan, Tank, Cordell Broadus, Carmelita Jeter, Kerry Rhodes, Nelly, Javale McGee, Problem, Mario, Reggie Bush, Red Grant, Brittney Elena, Dan Rue, Nick Pattiwhack and many more.

So, with such a stacked roster, the game made for great friendly competition. As Team Snoop grabbed the first two touchdowns, Team Barnes soon caught up; and by the fourth quarter, the game went into overtime 26-26. But, Hall of Famer and Team Barnes player Terrell Owens (T.O) caught a Hail Mary to break the tie and end the game, 32-26.

While kicking off the four-day Athletes vs Cancer Summer 2018 festivities, NBA Champion Matt Barnes and Hip Hop legend Snoop Dogg present the first-ever Smoke4ACure Summit; which gathered tastemakers, celebrities, and athletes for cancer awareness and fundraising.

Hosted at Snoop’s compound in South Los Angeles Thursday (Aug. 9), the summit featured a plethora of cannabis vendors like Louis the XIII, Kurvana, Kannibox, Liquidology CBD (marijuana-infused drinks); and more. Plus, Snoop’s own cannabis-flavored platform Merry Jane and premium glass (pipe/bong) line Pounds.

In addition to the abundance of drinks, food, and marijuana, Lil Duval topped the night off as he hit the stage to perform his tracks “Dropping It Off;” plus viral bangers with Snoop, “Smile B-tch” and “Kill ‘Em Wit The Shoulders.”

Furthermore, AVC found its start by Barnes, whose mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2007, and passed 26 days after her diagnosis.

Hollywood Unlocked got the chance to sit down with stars Eva Longoria, Nina Dobrev, Vanessa Hudgens, Adam Pally, Tone Bell and director Ken Marino. We were also joined by some adorable puppies!

“Dog Days” follows a group of interconnected people in Los Angeles who are brought together by their lovable dogs. The movie explores how relationships develop and grow organically among a group of people who would not have naturally connected if it wasn’t for their dogs.

Eva opens up about how her character of an adoptive mother correlates to the recent birth of her own son. She adds that she was emotional throughout filming the film, especially when they got to keep “Mr. Snuggles.” Ken also adds that Eva was one of his favorite cast members to work with.

Nina and Tone’s characters tell the story of an unlikely romance that is finally brought together by their dogs. Their on and off-screen friendship definitely shines through their roles!

Now, Vanessa and Adam both learn about growth and fostering unexpected relationships because of the dogs in the movie. The loving characters are people that we can all relate to!

Dog Days is both emotional, funny and cute, with an A-list cast that you get to experience in different roles!

K Michelle opens up about her first experience with silicone shots, adding that they are not legal in the US and that it’s a practice for women to get the procedure done in a hotel room. She adds that the next day she achieved her voluptuous look, despite already being curvy. The procedure itself would later take a negative effect on her body. The singer admits she has been sick for over a year and a half, suffering from the repercussions of the surgery.

K then reveals her relationship with Idris Elba, who claimed he could never be with just one woman but adds that he gave “amazing head”. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Lesean McCoy, who allegedly, has a small penis, and c*** too quick.

That’s not it! K Michelle then reveals that she didn’t want to be with Chad “Ochocinco” because his penis was too big!

She adds, ” I wanted my walls and I wanted to get a husband”. However, he did get her a pet monkey.

Here’s something for all you POWER fans: Over the weekend, Vodka and STARZ hit TV- series teamed up to bring the iconic Truth Nightclub to NYC!

The two-night pop-up event were both held in Brooklyn. 50 Cent who is the Executive producer for the show and also plays Kanan Shark, popped out for the first night to surprise fans and give them the real-life experience.

Rotimi, who plays Dre, also came out for the second night to mingle with fans and show everyone what it’s like to really party at TRUTH.

NYC — Rotimi, known for his role as Dre on the hit TV series Power, attended the Truth x EFFEN Vodka’s Pop-up on August 2 in New York City.

The nightclub setup was pretty close to the one that’s on the show; the same sign plastered on the front of the building and purple lighting effects inside the club. The Guest’s was also served with cool drinks that were named after the show’s characters and episodes: The O.G., Dirty Money, The St. Patrick, The Mastermind, and The Come Up.

Overall, both nights were a success and fans seemed very happy that they actually got a chance to feel like they’re really a part of the show.

On to other news, the Bronx bodega where Junior was brutally murdered has finally been closed, but it has been sold to new owners. Our hosts discuss whether it is right to even have the building still there following the incident.

Over the weekend, guests dressed to impress to attend a charity event called “The Equanimity Awards Benefit Gala” at the Royal Affairs Ballroom in Lewisville, TX.

Celebrities flocked in to support this community event. The Gala celebrated and honored some change-makers in the community and rallied support for JB Dondolo, a charity that Lumbie Mlambo and her siblings founded to continue their father’s legacy of giving to the less fortunate. The organization is named after the late father J.B. Dondolo, who was an orphan, a farmer, and a humanitarian. The charity fights poverty in low-income communities.

JB Dondolo, Inc. is a nonprofit organization (registered 501c3 in Texas). Lumbie’s organization aims to continue the Water-Sanitation-Hygiene (WASH) project for a healthcare center in Zimbabwe. The event over the weekend extended an invitation to the audience to visit the project site and received an overwhelming 600 volunteers and donor trip signups. The charity’s $2 monthly subscription cards were received favorably for those wishing to pay it forward and support the charity.
