Hollywood Unlocked was invited to a tropical summer party held at the poolside of the Hollywood Roosevelt as PrettyLittleThing X Ashanti launched their collection.

The tropical summer vibe is portrayed through barely-their bikinis, beach cover-ups, predatory prints, mesh, neon, animal design and all the island vibes you need to start this summer with a bang.

We spoke to Ashanti who gave us a few gems about her collection and what inspired her, including that it was designed with her sister. She gave us insight into how she keeps herself in shape and what else to expect from the collection.

Celebrity guests who attended included; Tiffany Haddish, Justin Combs, Michael Blackson and many more!

All in all, we had a blast, with poolside drinks, food, PLT themed cabanas and A-list celebs, it was a day to remember.

We’ve been waiting to announce that BoohooMan is teaming up with Migos’ Quavo, for an exclusive collection set to launch globally on 11 April with an exclusive party on April 10.

Hollywood Unlocked was in the building to capture all the behind the scenes moment’s as the collection was put together for its final touches before launching.

We witnessed the 200-piece ready-to-wear and accessories collection filmed and put together on models ad the man himself! The collection consists of Tie-dye features across double denim, tracksuits, and T-shirts and velour two pieces. Accessories also include bucket hats, bum bags, sliders, and transparent PVC body bags.

We sat down with the CEO of BoohooMan, Samir Kamani who told us why he wanted to work with Quavo for this collection and what is to be expected for the brand’s future. He’s ready to make it big stateside and this collection is definitely the start of big things!

Hollywood Unlocked was in the building for the grand opening of Pretty Little Thing’s headquarters in Los Angeles.

Pretty Little Thing has officially come to Los Angeles as they celebrated the opening of their headquarters on Wednesday night.

Umar Kamani and his team did it again as they hosted 200 people in their new office space on Melrose. Their building which has floor to ceiling glass windows and of course, everything covered in pink is a place where influencers can go to get their nails, and makeup done all while browsing the newest PLT looks.

Celebs like Khloe Kardashian, Ashley Graham, Terrance J, India Love,YG, Blueface, Will.i.am, Swaggy P, the Clermont twins, Larsa Pippen and so many more were in the building to celebrate this amazing night.

The night got started with Blueface taking the stage to perform some of his top hits including everyone’s favorite “Thotiana.” Rappers YG and Tyga were also in the building and hopped onstage to perform some of their collaborative hits as well.

PLT is a brand that is known to be inclusive of all shapes and sizes. Their catalog of books includes collaborations with Karl Kani and partnerships with celebs like Hailey Baldwin Beiber and Teyana Taylor.

Having an office in the middle of Melrose is going to continue to promote diversity in fashion and affordability in good quality pieces.

Karl Kani is back with another collaboration with Pretty Little Thing, and Hollywood Unlocked was in the building to give you an inside scoop.

Kani who is a master designer teamed up with the brand before, but this time he took a whole new direction.

He says that this collection was inspired by the ’90s with pieces like newspaper print layouts, oversized pieces, and a lot of solid colors with Karl’s logo printed on them.

What makes this collection special is the fact that PLT is known to be a woman’s brand, but Karl took it up a notch creating pieces that are unisex.

While kicking off the 2018 BET Awards Weekend festivities, Destination 1610 and Hustle Gurl Entertainment hosted their exclusive celebrity fashion show at Hollywood hotspot Boulevard3.

In addition to presentations by legendary designer Karl Kani and Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Tammy Rivera, Rich & Rotten and more; the event featured familiar faces like rapper Waka Flaka Flocka Flame, actress Porscha Coleman, social personality Lala Milan and others.
