The Migos rapper who‘s known for being unproblematic is making headlines and not for any good reasons. According to TMZ, he’s being sued by a woman who claims he raped her at a party in Los Angeles.
The woman, who goes by Jane Doe in the suit, claims Takeoff raped her back in June. She explained that she was at the party which her friend invited her to and felt uncomfortable by the rapper as he kept “staring” at her. However, she claims he offered her weed later in the evening but curved him.
She claims things got worse after she went upstairs with the man who invited her to the party. She says Takeoff and the man got into an argument as the rapper came down the stairs which prompted her to go into the man’s bedroom to wait it out. She alleges that Takeoff somehow made his way to the bedroom, came inside, and started touching her buttocks. From there, the alleged victim says Takeoff flipped her over face-down, pulled down her clothing, and raped her while she kept refusing his advances.
She claims after he finished he immediately left the room, TMZ reports. The woman reportedly took herself to a nearby hospital later that day and said hospital staff observed physical evidence of forceful rape. She claims hospital staff notified LAPD.
According for the news site, she’s suing for sexual battery, assault, emotional distress and more and wants damages.

Trump Says Lebanon Explosion Was An “Attack,” Though The Cause Is Not Yet Known
On Tuesday, Beirut was rocked by a massive explosion causing massive distraction and leaving many dead and injured. As of Wednesday morning, the death toll has climbed to 100, while some 4,000 people were reported to have been wounded by the massive blast at the city’s port, The Guardian reports.
Following the tragic event, US President Donald Trump weighed in on the incident and claimed it was likely “an attack.” During his evening press briefing where he first offered sympathy to the Lebanese people, he said it “looks like a terrible attack.” When asked by a reporter to clarify his comment, the president said his military advisers “seemed to feel” the incident was an attack based on the type of explosion. “I’ve met with some of our great generals and they just seemed to feel that it was,” Trump said. “This was not some kind of a manufacturing explosion type of event … They would know better than I would, but they seem to think it was an attack — it was a bomb of some kind, yes,” Business Insider quotes.
Despite that, Lebanese officials said Tuesday afternoon that the cause of the explosion has yet to be officially determined. Though Abbas Ibrahim, chief of Lebanese General Security, said it might have been caused by highly explosive material that was stored at the port after it was confiscated from a ship.
“We will not relax until we find the responsible party for what happened, hold it accountable and apply the most serious punishments against it because it isn’t acceptable that a shipment of ammonium nitrate — estimated to be 2,750 tons — was in a depot for the past six years without precautionary measures being taken,” said Prime Minister Diab, according to a statement by the Lebanese Higher Defense Council. Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim, the head of Lebanon’s general security service also warned against speculation that the explosion was related to terrorism, according to The New York Times.

Donald Trump Suggests Jeffrey Epstein Might Have Been Killed
In a new interview, Donald Trump suggested that accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein might have been killed in jail instead of having committed suicide. He made those shocking comments while also defending his well wishes to Epstein’s alleged accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.
During his sit-down with Jonathan Swan of Axios, the President was reminded that Maxwell now faces charges related to alleged sexual abuse of children by investor Epstein. “First of all, I don’t know that,” he replied to the reporter. “But I do know that her friend or boyfriend [Epstein] was either killed or committed suicide in jail,” Trump said of the Maxwell and added, “She’s now in jail.”

As we previously reported, Epstein died in a New York prison cell in August 2019, aged 66. The disgraced financier and convicted sex offender was facing further charges in relation to trafficking and abuse of minors. Maxwell was taken into custody last month for her alleged role and Trump wished her well on 21 July, after prosecutors announced that she had been detained.
While speaking about her, Trump said:
“Yeah, I wish her well. I’d wish you well, I’d wish a lot of people well,” he told Swan. “Good luck, let them prove somebody was guilty.”
President Trump’s relationship with Epstein has come under increasing scrutiny in recent months. The two men had been apart of the same social circles for years. Trump had socialized with both Epstein and Maxwell in the past with other other high-profile friends including former President Bill Clinton and Britain’s Prince Andrew. Despite the crimes that Epstein and Maxwell have been accused of, Trump has stated that he has nothing to do with any of it.
Ms Maxwell has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Katy Perry is not the only one standing by Ellen DeGeneres’ side. Actor and comedian Kevin Hart is now also speaking out to show support for the once beloved talk show host.
The 41-year-old took to Instagram Tuesday to send a little message to his followers and good friend. Hart said, “It’s crazy to see my friend go thru what she’s going thru publicly,” Hart began his post. “I have known Ellen for years and I can honestly say that she’s one of the dopest people on the f**king planet. UPDATE: Aurora PD Apologizes For Placing Black Family In Cuffs Over Stolen Vehicle “Mix-Up”
Earlier this Tuesday, we shared the shocking clip of Colorado Police detaining a family in a parking lot. The video even showed children in cuffs as they laid on their stomachs as officers gave them orders. At the time, details on the incident weren’t fully clear but CNN has provided an update.
Brittney Gilliam spoke with the news site and shared that the incident took place on Sunday. Gilliam said she had taken her 6-year-old daughter, 12-year-old sister and 14 and 17-year-old nieces to get their nails done and were sitting in the parking lot with the car turned off when cops approached from behind. She says the officers had their weapons drawn and told them to put their hands out of the window and exit the vehicle.
From there, Gilliam and the 2 others were placed in cuffs as cops accused her of being in a vehicle. As TMZ notes, she says she explained to them it WAS stolen back in February but returned to her, and had all of the documentation for the vehicle. Cops then realized their mistake.
Interim Chief of Police Vanessa Wilson says she’s called Gilliam’s family “to apologize and to offer any help we can provide, especially for the children who may have been traumatized” by the incident.
“I have reached out to our victim advocates so we can offer age-appropriate therapy that the city will cover.” The department added, “The confusion may have been due, in part, to the fact that the stopped car was reported stolen earlier in the year. After realizing the mistake, officers immediately unhandcuffed everyone involved, explained what happened and apologized.”

Two Injured, 1 Killed During Beverly Hills Mansion Party
What was so supposed to be a fun day for partygoers in California even during the coronavirus pandemic turned into a complete nightmare after gunshots broke out.
According to The Los Angeles Times, three people were shot early Tuesday during the large party at a mansion on Mulholland Drive, in Beverly Crest, authorities said. At the time, only a few details were available, but the LAFD said the shooting occurred around 12:45 a.m. A man who said he was working security for the party also confirmed that it was being thrown for an unidentified NFL player, CBS Los Angeles reported. Videos from the large gathering posted on social media appear to even capture the moment shots were fired.

Katy Perry has got Ellen’s back! Early Tuesday morning, the singer took to social media to issue a statement on her good friend amid allegations of a “toxic” work environment behind the scenes of the popular daytime talk show.

Former ‘Love & Hip-Hop Star’ Benzino Arrested For Property Damage After “Jealous Rage”
Benzino found himself sitting in slammer last week after getting into an altercation with his ex-girl’s new man. According to TMZ, the reality star, who has been in an ongoing battle with the mother of his child, Althea Eaton for years, was arrested on Friday after confronting a guy who has been seeing his ex.
The new guy told cops that he and Althea had been going for a walk Friday morning in Braselton, GA when they came to his truck as saw Benzino. The cop said the 55-year-old “approached him in a threatening and harassing manner” adding that the man didn’t know Benzino or had any idea Althea was involved with someone else.
The guy tried getting into his 2018 Chevy Silverado but apparently, Benzino wasn’t having it. He allegedly hit the truck multiple times with his fist, leaving 2 dents in the driver’s side door, according to the police report obtained by the news site. However, Benzino has a completely different story…
Now, he claims he was in the area watching his son play tennis when “a male came up to him and told him he was going to shoot him.”
Although Benzino denied Benzino damaging the man’s vehicle, there were witnesses to back up the guy’s claims.
From there, Benzino was arrested and taken in on 1 count of criminal damage 2nd degree and 1 count of disorderly conduct, TMZ reports. He was taken to Gwinnett County Jail where his bail was set at $8,450, and he reportedly remains behind bars.
Taking Action: Group Of Local Business Owners Form Organization To Combat Crimes In Chicago
As many are aware, Chicago continues to be ravaged by senseless gun violence. Just last month, we reported the horrific July 4th weekend where 79 people were gunned down, 15 fatally with some of the victims being innocent children. The violence continued after the holiday with a 10-month-old girl being hit by a bullet, leaving her currently fighting for her life. Sadly, another incident recently took place involving an innocent 9-year-old boy who was struck and killed while playing with his friends. The recent shootings have brought national attention to the ongoing problem that Chicago has been dealing with for years.
However, a group of local business owners in Chicago has had just about enough of the senseless violence in their communities, so they have decided to come together to do something about it! Philanthropist Early Walker and his group have formed an organization called “I’m Telling, Don’t Shoot.” A description of their mission reads: “We are no longer subscribing to the “NO SNITCHING” rule in our communities. If you SHOOT A GUN, WE ARE TELLING!! We are fed up with losing our children and innocent bystanders to senseless violence.” The business owners are putting in their own money and even raising more to match the “high amount cash rewards for the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators of these horrific crimes” hoping that big money would make people more eager to reach out.
Walker launched the organization back in June but recently announced it to the public on Thursday. He encouraged people to contact their Tip Line (anonymously) if they have any helpful information about a shooting or murder. “While the organization is less than 30 days old, the tip line has continued to have heavy traffic on a daily basis,” Early told ABC7. Through the organization’s trusted tip line, a high powered assault weapon was recently taken off the street.

“The person who gave this particular tip was accurate and precise. I want to thank CPD Area 2 Commander Varrick Douglass for his quick actions that led to the speedy discovery of the weapon. In addition, Superintendent Dave Brown continues to be a source of strength and encouragement to our organization. His leadership has been stellar for us,” Walker said.
According to Walker, I’m Telling, Don’t Shoot has raised $50K to go towards rewards for information that leads to arrests — thanks to the community. He adds that “My goal is to raise $1 million to be able to offer $25K each time there’s a shooting.” In addition to that, Walker shared that his organization also provides jobs for the unemployed. “We have given out over 200 jobs so far to individuals in the community that wants to work.”
As of right now, the group is working to help get justice for a family that recently lost their child due to gun violence. An update on that prominent case is expected to be announced soon.
