‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute Fired For Racist Actions
Bravo stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute now join the list of celebs who have been kicked to the curb for their poor actions.
Earlier this Tuesday, June 9, Bravo announced that the network has cut ties with the longtime cast members as well newbies Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni — for their past racially insensitive remarks. “Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to Vanderpump Rules,” the statemnt read.

The firing comes after Stassi, 31, and Kristen, 37, came under fire earlier this month after their former costar Faith Stowers revealed they falsely reported her to the police in 2018 for a crime she didn’t commit! “There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different weird tattoos,” Faith explained during an Instagram chat last week. “They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people, and they called the cops and said it was me. This is, like, a true story. I heard this from actually Stassi during an interview.”
Not only did Stassi admit to calling the police on her that same year during a episode of the “Bitch Bible” podcast, but in a now-deleted tweet from 2018, Kristen also tweeted a link to an article about the woman involved in the alleged crime and wrote, “hey tweeties, doesn’t this ex #pumprules thief look familiar? someone put her on mtv & gave her a platform for press. I didn’t wanna go there but I’m going there.”
“It was just funny because they thought it was me because it was a Black woman with a weave,” Faith said while speaking with “Floribama Shore” star Candace Rice. “So they just assumed it would be me, and they called the cops on me. It didn’t work, so they were upset about that.”
Following Stowers’ IG Live, Stassie and Kristen apologized to her for the first time on Sunday, June 7, via Instagram.
Here’s what Stassi had to say:
Meanwhile, Kristen said her “actions were not racially driven, I am now completely aware of how my privilege blinded me from the reality of law enforcement’s treatment of the black community, and how dangerous my actions could have been to her.”
We haven’t heard a squeak from Stassi or Kristen since news of the firing. But the network also confirmed on Tuesday new cast members Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni won’t return after past racist tweets were uncovered earlier this year, shortly after the new season debuted.
The girls starred in all eight seasons of Vanderpump Rules as main cast members, except for Season 4, when Stassi was a recurring cast member.
