The family of a man from the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago says cell phone video proves that officers used excessive force on him during an arrest on Monday.
Jermaine Milan was arrested for allegedly selling drugs in Englewood, Chicago. In the video of his arrest, it shows 2 plain clothes cops beating him in the face in front of a crowd of people on the street.
Milan is said to have suffered a broken nose and arm during the forceful arrest, but police are supporting their officers and saying they acted in “compliance” with the “use of force policy.”
