Back in February, the model-actress Karrueche Tran got a temporary restraining order against ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown. Now, Karrueche is seeking to impose a permanent restraining order on the singer, whom she accuses of leaving her death threats and getting physical with her in the past. Her allegations did not sit well with Breezy’s attorney, Mark Geragos. He strongly believes Kae’s claims are straight up bull, and that she has other intentions.
“A lot of people use Chris to enhance their profile.” Geragos tells TMZ. He adds, her restraining order case is “doomed to failure.”
Karrueche’s restraining order hearing was postponed once again on Wednesday because Tran was not able to locate him to properly serve Chris with the legal documents.
Geragos, who refused to accept service on behalf of the singer, says “I’m not here to help anybody increase their profile for self-promotion.”
Karrueche’s Tran’s manager, Jacob York, responded to Geragos’ claim that Karrueche is using this situation for publicity.
“Please don’t use Karrueche’s name to distract from your client’s current negative issues… let’s handle it in court.” He said there’s no way the model would attack her ex to increase her fame.
Chris Brown is currently traveling the U.S for his Party Tour, and his tour dates and locations are listed, so maybe there’s hope for Karrueche to locate the singer to resume with the hearing.
