Colin Kaepernick’s Legal Team Will Send Subpoena To Donald Trump.
According to CNN, the legal team representing Colin Kaepernick will be sending subpoenas for President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and other officials who worked on the Trump campaign relating to Colin’s collusion case against the NFL.
The subpoenas are intended to shed light on connections between NFL owners and the president. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and other NFL owners have already been deposed in the case.
In 2017, Trump began speaking about the NFL kneeling controversy,
“It was reported that NFL owners don’t want to pick him up because they don’t want to get a nasty tweet from Donald Trump,” said the president. “Do you believe that?”
Trump has been deeply involved with the issue, slating many players who kneel. Recently the president canceled the Eagles’ visit to the white house, fearing that many would not attend.
More from the NFL better.
