An Indiana couple discovered they did not have any privacy after finding a hidden camera in their room.
FOX News reports the couple was visiting Longboat Key, Florida and found a hidden camera disguised as a smoke detector. Derek Starnes said he noticed a small black hole on the side of the smoke detector and the camera was pointed directly at the bed.
Lt.Bob Bourque said the camera was unnoticeable:
“The smoke detector had a small black dot where the camera was mounted on the side of it. There was one in the master bedroom which was pointed at a bed and then one in the living room.”
The couple stated they are distressed by the situation and expect others who rented from Wayne Natt,56, to come forward. Natt was arrested and charged with one count of video voyuerism. The homeowner told police he used the hidden camera to record sexual activity. He then said the camera was hidden in a smoke detetctor to get a better angle.
Natt had over 40 reviews on his Airbnb account and used the site for two years.
