Serena Williams is giving us bawdy and legs on the cover of the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar! Decked out in a sporty white Nike tennis skirt and halter top and not to mention white stilettos, photographer Douglas Friedman perfectly captures both sides of who the tennis star is. On one side shes the greatest women’s tennis player to ever do it, and on the other side shes every man’s dream with beauty, brains, and did we say bawdy for days? Inside the brand new November issue entitled “Women Who Dare”, Harper’s Bazaar is celebrating women who “live by their own rules, and aren’t afraid to take flight”. When asked how she stays so calm and chill, Williams responds “I think it started last year when I won the US Open,” she says. “I was so stressed to get to number 18 the whole year before.” Eighteen refers to the count of major titles, sealing Williams’s legend status as the greatest female player of all time, tying Martina Navratilova’s and Chris Evert’s records. Williams is also dishing on her love for fashion recounting her recent clothing line showcase during NYFW with rumored boyfriend Drake in the audience showing support. Although the tennis star loves getting dolled up in designer threads she makes it known that she’s most comfortable at home “walking around without makeup. I like the feeling of being stripped of everything and just being myself….Watching Netflix.” Peep the behind the scenes video and the amazing editorial shots below!
