“SELL ME THE NFL NOW!!!!” Diddy Reacts To National Anthem Protests; Demands To Own The Whole League!

While the National Football League is comprised of 70 percent of African Americans, the power and leverage that Black people possess is overwhelming — and Diddy is here to help.

Moreover, by making the change he wants to see in regards to the latest NFL controversy, Puff, real name Sean Combs, tells Twitter Tuesday evening (Oct. 10) that he once “dream[ed] to own a NFL team, but now [his] dream is to own our own league! A  League where you can be yourself. Have a retirement plan [and more].”

Additionally, Combs tweets:

“I did have a dream to own a NFL team, but now my dream is to own our own league! A league where you can be yourself. Have a retirement plan. Have freedom to be a great human and protest for you people without being demonized for your beliefs as a KING!! NEW DREAM ALERT!!!! SELL ME THE NFL NOW!!!!”

Consequently, Puff’s series of tweets came after he retweeted an idea from political commentator Keith Boykin, stating:

“Black players are 70% of the NFL We have the power to defend Colin Kaepernick and Jemele Hill from the forces that would silence them.”

Furthermore, the overwhelming number of Black athletes in the NFL means Blacks have an incredible amount of leverage and power to tell the league and its owners to kick rocks — ‘we’re not okay with you banning players from kneeling during the National Anthem.’

As a result of the two week ESPN suspension of SportsCenter journalist Jemele Hill, Boykin came to her defense and Kaepernick’s; with a co-sign from Puff.

Additionally, this isn’t the first time Combs has publicly divulged his wish to own the NFL.

Following the “Vote or Die” campaign, the super mogul set a new mission to become the “first African-American majority owner” in the NFL.

“I’m more of an owner type of guy. So I have aspirations to become — it will happen — to become the first African-American majority owner. Not having a small stake but actually owning an NFL team. I think it’s time for that. A majority of the players in the NFL are African-American but there are no African-American owners. So that’s one of my dreams.”
