Get ready for another Nike collaboration, this time with Dior menswear artistic director Kim Jones.
One of Nike’s popular sneakers, the Air Max is getting a major facelift for an upcoming collaboration with Dior artistic director Kim Jones.
After giving up his post at Louis Vuitton, the designer joined forces with Nike to create a new hybrid model sneaker.
On Thursday, he previewed the shoe on his Instagram alongside a NikeLab apparel collection set to release today at Dover Street Market London.
This sneaker combines the full sole of the classic Air Max 2009 but with a few new elements. The body of the shoe is a high top which features an upper that combines elements of several Nike models.
By looking at the design, you can see things like the oversized Swoosh logo of the Blazer and the ankle strap of the Vandal. Along with a mixture of honeycomb mesh, canvas, and leather make up the materials.
As of now, there are no major specifics of the shoe in regards to price, and quantity that will be sold. However, once the Dover Street Market pops off, we may have some more news!
Take a look at the sneaker below and let us know what you think!
