DJ Khaled didn’t seem to have any major keys to stop the crowd from booing during his Electric Daisy Carnival set.
This past Sunday at EDC in Las Vegas, Khaled’s hour-long set came to a screeching halt within less than 20 minutes. According to multiple sources, the producer tried to address fans as well as the sound team from the stage, while trying to explain his discontent with the way the sound issues were being handled. As Khaled tries to keep the crowd hyped, his efforts just weren’t enough, as the sound team continued to struggle to get his set together.
His efforts to keep the crowd energized came to an end as fans began to boo and chant Yellow Claw. Many fans took to social media to air out their frustrations.
Here’s a few reaction from the Electric Daisy Carnival goers:

Things learned tonight… DJ Khaled is not actually a DJ and having him at EDC was probably a bad idea.

DJ Khaled has taken to social media to clear the air and set the record straight.
In an Instagram post, he explains that he was “sabotaged” in an effort to cut his set short. He noted, “They cut my time short and they had me [backstage] for an hour and [a] half and the sound kept breaking,” Khaled explained. “Then I heard my fans and I said ‘I’m [going to go] out even if the sound cuts off and even if they cut my time short.”
