Donald Trump Says Melania Is Doing Very Well After Kidney Surgery
On Monday, First Lady Melania Trump underwent kidney surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center near Washington, DC. Melania had been experiencing an issue with her kidney for some time now and needed medical attention.
“This morning, first lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition. The procedure was successful, and there were no complications,” the first lady’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, said in a statement Monday. “Mrs. Trump is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and will likely remain there for the duration of the week. The first lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere,” Grisham wrote.
Earlier this Tuesday, Trump gave an updated on his wife’s condition and said she’s doing just fine.
“Our great First Lady is doing really well,” Trump tweeted early Tuesday morning … “Will be leaving hospital in 2 or 3 days.” He added, “Thank you for so much love and support!”
