A Mother and daughter who say they were physically assaulted on Tuesday during Donald Trump’s rally is pressing charges. Esmeralda and Zayra Barragan say they went to the rally, not because they are supporters of trump, but to show that not all Latinos are in support of the presidential candidate. After Trump’s speech, a man at the rally assaulted the mother and daughter.
Cell Phone footage captured the moment when the man was removed by rally attendees after the assault occurred.
Esmeralda told Lexington, KY’s Lex 18 News that the man turned to her daughter and told her, “you will never be anyone.” He also allegedly told the family to pick up their welfare checks.
Louisville police say they are reviewing the footage of the incident.
