A brave firefighter died this Thursday, after falling five stories from an apart building while battling an intense fire, according to multiple reports.
William Tolley, 42, responded to a fire that broke out on the second floor of a multi-family home on 1615 Putnam Avenue in Ridgewood around 2:00pm. A city official tells ABC News that the first responder was attempting to get to the top bucket section of Ladder 135 from the roof, when he fell to his death.
