HGTV’s Flip or Flop’s Christina El Moussa reflects on 2016 and focuses on the future.
She posted an Instagram collage of some of the pictures from this past year. The caption read, “2016 has been a crazy year of highs and lows.”
El Moussa’s family in Orange County had some lows this year. The police received a call in May of a “call of a possibly suicidal male with a gun.” Tarek El Moussa allegedly ran from the house with a gun, only dropping the firearm after a helicopter spotted him and police commanded him to do so. Tarek told police he didn’t want to hurt himself but he just wanted to “blow off some steam.”
Christina’s family said the whole situation was a “misunderstanding”. They defended Tarek and explained that he was just going on a hike and happened to take a gun with him for protection against mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes and rattlesnakes.
The El Moussa family is sticking right together with support and love for one another. Christina is looking forward to 2017 and creating new experiences and memories with her family and loved ones.
