French Montana Becomes A U.S. Citizen!
In more positive news, rappers French Montana is finally a U.S. citizen!
The rapper who was born and raised in Morocco, but immigrated to the U.S. when he was 13 accomplished the big move Wednesday morning in New Jersey.
Source tells TMZ, that getting his citizenship was a very long process. Montana applied back in February of 2017. In order to become a citizen, you have to take the Naturalization Oath of Allegiance and clearly, French nailed it!
In a video shared to Instagram, French can be seen singing to the National Anthem while adding that he can finally get his passport. This also means that French can now vote in the 2020 election!
Although deportation is the least of his worries now, he’s a citizen who can vote and hopefully, he’ll be able to take some action regarding the major deportation issue that’s been happening now that president Donald Trump is in office.
Before he even thinks about jumping into all of that, we’re pretty sure French is going to turn up just one time for locking in his citizenship.
