Good Samaritan Defends Two Women Who Were Attacked By A Homeless Man In Brooklyn

A good Samaritan came to the rescue after a homeless man attacked two elderly women as they left a grocery store Sunday morning.

The New York Post reports 45-year-old Andres Flores punched two women, aged 77 and 79 after they exited out of Shoppers World on Pitkin Avenue near Herzl Street in Brownsville around 9:45 a.m. The good Samaritan spotted Flores attacking the two women and knocked him to the ground. A witness heard the good Samaritan yelling to Flores: “C’, mon, man, It’s Mother’s Day. Really?”.

A group of bystanders called 911 as the good Samaritan held down Flores. Another witness, Jacaira Baez, called the man a hero for helping the two women.

I never saw anything like this in person. You see it on the news, but not in front of you,”  “He’s a hero. He’s a hero. He didn’t think about it. He just did it.”
