Recently, Halle Berry decided to not overlook black media on a red carpet for a movie despite her publicist saying she had no time. Halle says she would never skip her brother and sister.
Jason is very vocal about black media being overlooked on the carpet. It’s constantly happening despite most of the talent being black.
We constantly get put in bad placements on the carpet without the ability to get good interviews.
Black people make the culture, but, many black want to be accepted by the white man and their publicists that will get them on predominantly white media outlets. Halle Berry put a stop to that and hopefully set an example for other talent.
