HU Exclusive: Giving You The Keys To The Ace Of Diamonds Vs. Amber Rose Feud

By now, we’ve all heard about the ongoing drama between Amber Rose and popular West Hollywood strip club, Ace of Diamonds. Hollywood Unlocked got the chance to exclusively interview the real owners of the original Ace of Diamonds, Sam and Sean. The owners of the club, along with the #AODMondays promotion team, tells us the real truth behind the club, and that Amber Rose is NOT, nor ever has been, an owner.

As Hollywood Unlocked previously reported, Rose was all smiles as she took to the All Def Digital Awards stage back in February to announce that she bought Ace of Diamonds. But her victory was short-lived, as one day later, the real owners of the club, SKWS Enterprises, slapped Muva with a lawsuit over her “lies.”

According to them, Amber Rose hasn’t put any money into the strip club, and her statements about buying it are “unequivocally false.” In her application to trademark the name, “Ace of Diamonds, Inc,” the documents described the proposed corporation as “entertainment services in the nature of live dance performances” and “gentlemen’s clubs featuring exotic dancing.”

Rose intends on opening a new Ace of Diamonds strip club in Hollywood, just a few minutes away from the original location, with AOD’s former employee, Jason Robinson, who falsely claims to be the “AOD Founder & Creator” on his Instagram page (below). Rose and Robinson, together, got the Ace of Diamonds Instagram pages taken down, and the actual owners of Ace of Diamonds, Sean and Sam, credit their success in doing so to Amber’s celebrity status and relationship with Instagram.

When Rose filed to form a corporation and trademark the name “Ace of Diamonds, Inc,” her application was quickly rejected, as it would “cause confusion in the marketplace,” since an Ace of Diamonds and Ace of Emeralds already exists. The documents further cite past trademark rejections as precedent, giving examples such as Mister Stain being likely to be confused with Mr. Clean in the world of cleaning products, and Tuna O’ the Farm being confused with Chicken of the Sea in the canned food industry.

See below for the official court documents denying Rose’s trademark request:

Following her trademark request denial, Rose, seemingly negligently, took to Instagram to make it crystal clear that nothing would stop her from opening up a new Ace of Diamonds location. In an Instagram video, Rose announces a casting call for her “new strip club,” saying,

“Hey girls, it’s Muva. Just want to let you guys know that I’m doing a casting call tomorrow in Hollywood. The address is below in the caption and it’s from 12 to 5 and it’s for waitresses and bartenders for the new Ace of Diamonds strip club. I’ve partnered up with the original creator of Ace of Diamonds and now we’re moving to Hollywood. I just wanted to give you girls an opportunity to not only work for a woman but it’s no secret I was a stripper for a very long time and had the time of my life. So let Muva show you how to get that bag and who better to work for than the most famous stripper in the world?”

Rose held her casting call in Hollywood, and proceeded to post this message on Instagram:

SKWS Enterprises is suing Amber for slander, and looking for over $1 million in payout for the damages her lies have triggered. Rose has never owned any part of Ace of Diamonds. She has hosted at the club multiple times, as illustrated in the documents provided. As for her partner, Robinson, who is claiming to be the original owner of the strip club, he strictly worked as a promoter for the club, further demonstrated in the emails and texts messages below.
