Boomerang is back, but this time it focuses on the lives of millennials.
Hollywood Unlocked was in the building for the premiere of BET’s new hit series Boomerang produced by Lena Waithe and Halle Berry.
The series which picks up 25 years after the 1992 movie follows the lives of the main characters daughter and her friends.

On the carpet when asked about the film and why people should tune in, Waithe said;
“Theres nothing else like it on T.V.”
Her statement is 100 percent correct. We were able to sit in and watch the first two episodes directed by Dime Davis and instantly, you are drawn to every each character. We won’t give too much away aside from letting you know you will love it!
The show’s cast is made up of names like Tequan Richmond, Leland Martin, Brittany Inge, RJ Walker, Lala Milan, Tetonia Jackson and more. While this is a fresh-faced cat taking center stage Halle says that they are phenomenal.

On the carpet, she praised them saying,
‘I say go get it! This is their generation and they’re speaking to their generation and they’re all brand new and sparkly and mad talented and excited.’
