Since 2003, each year NBC scours 3-5 cities across the country, holding both auditions and live showcases to locate each area’s top diverse talented comedians for its #StandUpNBC competition series.
Once competitors pass the regional open call auditions, they advance to the semi-finals live showcase; and lastly, about eight finalists are flown to Los Angeles to perform live in front of the industries best agents, casting directors, television executives and media outlets.
So, for its 15th annual series finale (Dec. 5), NBC exclusively invited Hollywood Unlocked as its finalists performed in front of the aforementioned, plus comedy’s hottest players and alumni like Amanda Seales (Insecure), Tone Bell (Disjointed), Brandon T. Jackson (Roll Bounce), Langston Kerman (Insecure), Ron G, and more.
Additionally, this year’s live show included Kabir Singh and finalists Calvin Evans, Sohrab Forozesh, Luz Pazos, Mike E. Winfield, Ali Clayton, Jay Jurden, Vincent Bryant and Venessa Peruda.
