HU Exclusive: The Steve Francis Foundation Hosts All-Star Celebrity Basketball Game Benefiting The Boys & Girls Club Of LA

While giving back to the youth and supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Los Angeles, The Steve Francis Foundation in association with Anthem Communication and Three-Sixty RAW hosted their own East vs. West All-Star Celebrity Basketball Game at USC’s Galen Center.

In addition to Hall of Famer Terrell Owens and Nickelodeon ‘Game Shakers‘ star Shel Bailey, the game featured celebrity guests like: SilentoRobin KennedyDwayne SampleAbe Cruz and more.

Additionally; the game powered by the NBA Retired Players Association; saw teams coached by Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, father of Kobe Bryant, and renowned trainer Wayne Slappy.

Furthermore, as many gathered to watch the exciting game, a portion of the proceeds garnered went to the greater Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club organization.

Also, the event’s organizers state:

“The purpose of the game is to enhance focus on education blending Innovators with Entertainers. Our innovators will consist of educators, civil servants, accountants, medical professionals, military personnel, and more. The entertainment corps will be medley of filmmakers, comedians, musicians and recording artists committed to using their influence to strengthen educational opportunities for youth around the world.”

In addition to the youth attendees from the B&G Club of LA, students from LA Unified School District’s “Beyond the Bell” program sat in on the game.
