The hype over old school classic shoe brand Adidas has been at an all-time high.
With various styles coming out, they have proven that they are not to be messed with.
But one underdog is beginning to make a rise after being in the shadows for quite some time.
Back in the day, everyone had a pair of classic Reebok, so now get ready to have a pair again.
Footlocker CEO Dick Johnson has been open in saying now that Adidas demands have gone down, there is room for Reebok to take a front position.
The brand has done an amazing job locking in major names to promote their brand.
The main goal behind these sneakers is promoting not just fashion, but fitness and music as well.
Asos sportswear buyer Danni Dondi said,”There is a trend coming through for throwback heritage sneakers, especially silhouettes from the ’90s, which the Classic Leather Reebok fits into perfectly.”
True, given that not only have sneaker brands brought back the old days, but fashion and classic shoe brands as well.
Recently, Steve Madden released a classic pair of sneakers, while Rihanna brought back the jellies for the Summer season.
He continued, “The brand has been excellent at releasing exciting trend colorations and fabrications across their footwear, which our customer is absolutely loving.”
While the brand seems to still have a long way to go, they have been making strides to compete with some of the big dogs like Nike and Addidas.
Asos, which currently carries 45 different pairs of Reebok products, says that they have seen the rise for the demand of the shoe at an all time high.
Following the release of Kanye West’s Yeezy Calabasas “Powerhouse” sneaker, which resembles a classic Reebok shoe, sneaker fans have flocked to the more cost effect style of the originals.
