Iggy Azalea’s Comeback Just Pumped The Breaks

It looks like 2016 may be off to a rocky start for Iggy Azalea, thanks to her record label.

Even though it was only released two weeks ago, Iggy announced that her label, Virgin/EMI, is disappointed “Azillion” isn’t turning out to be as successful as her previous hit, “Fancy,” and will not be green lighting a video. “My record label Virgin/EMI seems to feel the response to my viral record “Azillion” wasn’t good enough,” Iggy revealed via Twitter. “I’m not allowed a video.” Iggy also says the label wants her to call on her commercial appeal, tweeting, “They expect me to find a pop star to wack onto a radio friendly song with me rapping the verses.”

And if Digital Distortion gets the axe, the 25-year-old says she plans on “driving around LA and playing the album really loudly every Monday from 4-6pm.”
