A jealous boyfriend from Huntington, West Virginia was arrested after he tried to set his girlfriend’s workplace on fire.
Creio Chance Bishop,21, did not want his girlfriend dancing at Huntington strip club, JB’s Gentlemen’s Club. The fire began around 3:30 a.m on Wednesday while Bishop observed the scene from a Walmart parking lot. A witness alerted authorities after Bishop yelled at them saying “mind your business” and “leave it alone”.
General Manager Jim Reed stated Bishop’s girlfriend is the only source of income and pays the bills:
“It’s stupid. She’s trying to make a living for herself. He’s not doing nothing,”
“She’s paying the bills from what I understand.”
The club’s list of damages are extensive and costs $1,000 in repairs. The damages include: burned A/C unit, burned wall, damaged siding, damaged camera, a missing neon sign, and damaged front door.
Baffled by the crime, Sheriff Chuck Zerkle is glad the surveillance footage provided enough evidence to arrest Bishop.
“He got himself in a big mess now.”

Reed reported Bishop’s girlfriend worked at the club for six months and is very quiet and nice. He says her job will be in jeopardy if Bishop is released from jail.
“I hate doing it but I got to protect my business,”
“He might do this again. It might be worse next time.”
The club’s policy is not to allow boyfriends or husbands into the strip club while their wife is working. Bishop is charged with second-degree arson and held in the Western Regional Jail with a bond set at $10,000.
