Lil Wayne is not here for anything less than the absolute turn up. Attendees at designer Phillip Plein’s show in Italy learned that lesson quickly when the entertainer made an appearance for Milan Men’s Fashion Week.

In case you’re wondering why Wayne was even there in the first place, According to FashionBombDaily, Phillip Plein routinely turns his runway shows into full out performances. Fire, motorcycles and more have all been used to get those in attendance an extra spark. This season, the designer tapped rapper Lil Wayne to perform and it seems his audience was less than enthused. Reportedly, a few minutes into his set, due to a lackluster response from the crowd, Weezy threw his mic and walked off stage. An editor for London’s Financial Times described the incident briefly:
While we definitely understand what it’s like to be hungry, tired, and completely over it, one would think an artist of Wayne’s stature would garner more than blank stares and crickets. Welp. At least you can always count on the after party.
