Janet Jackson fans and Live Nation have reached a settlement over postponed Unbreakable tour.
While Janet Jackson kicked off her State of the World in Louisiana, Live Nation settled with a few of her fans. According to TMZ, the fans received an undisclosed amount of money. However, a good amount of the money will cover legal fees.
The lawsuit was filed last year after fans did not receive a refund when Janet Jackson announced last April that the Unbreakable tour would be put on hold. At the time of the announcement, doctors placed the singer under strict orders due high-risk nature of her pregnancy.
Live Nation reportedly told fans, Janet was simply rescheduling the tour so people could still attend. Fans were not happy.
However, Janet Jackson made good on her promise, as she officially kicked off her State Of The World tour in Lafayette, Louisiana.
