Meghan Markle’s Dad Allegedly Faked His Wedding Prep Photos And Sold Them for $135K

Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, is making media headlines after he allegedly posed for fake wedding preparation photos that he went on to sell for $135,000!

The future Princess’ father allegedly posed for a series of paparazzi photos which showed him preparing himself for the royal wedding. In the photos, Thomas can be seen reading a book titled, “Images of Great Britain”, working out, looking online at news about the royal wedding, and getting fitted for a tuxedo.

However, according to the DailyMail, the photos were taken by photographer Jeff Rayner in Mexico and eventually sold to media outlets for big bucks. The “tailor” who was photographed sizing Thomas for a tailored suit was actually an employee from another business. The “tailor” reportedly told the Daily Mail:

“This big American guy got the measuring tape out of his pocket and he was saying things in English… The photographer he was with stepped back to the street and started taking pictures. The big man was showing me what to do with the tape, holding it across himself. I just went along with it. I was telling him the measurements but he didn’t write them down or anything.”

This comes after reps for Prince Harry released a statement claiming that Thomas was being “followed and harassed” by members of the media and the paparazzi.

Daily Mail says the letter “urged editors not to publish pictures of Mr Markle and called on them to stop pursuing him.”

It’s still 100% clear if Thomas Markle profited from the staged paparazzi photos.
