Puff Daddy aka P. Diddy made a trip to New York’s Power 105 to sit down with The Breakfast Club and he was prepared for the tough questions. One of those tough topics was his alleged fisticuff action with Drake in Miami, where the two reportedly fought because Drake jack moved “0 to 100” which originally belonged to Puff. The two were said to have deaded the issue a few months ago, after a swift intervention by J. Prince, but the music mogul still wanted to clear the air publicly.
Per Puff, the Boi-1da beat was originally sent to Drake for him to ghostwrite on Diddy’s behalf. Apparently, there was a “misunderstanding,” which led into the alleged Miami incident. The two later sat down, settled their differences, and moved on according to the man himself. But Diddy wanted to make it clear that he “did not put hands on Drake, and I do not want any problems with Drake.” He continued, “Drake is right now. He’s putting in his work. That’s all I have to say. I didn’t do nothing to Drake. Drake is my friend.”
With that one out of the way, Envy quickly capitalized on Diddy’s giving spirit with a question regarding the rumors that Diddy got physical with J. Cole in an incident that happened years ago. While he doesn’t go into specifics, he admits “all of those things that happened in the past, they’re 100 percent true… and I’m putting those behind me. One of the things I want to say about all of these altercations, at a certain point in my life, I was handling things in an immature way. I had to then go from me to we, and I had to look at how much of our money I’d be f*cking up.”
The admissions didn’t stop there, as Puff described his nationally televised fall at this year’s BET Awards, his friendly vodka war with 50 Cent and, the “asshole issues” that he’s working to change. The latter point ties into the whole UCLA/kettlebell incident, which Combs admittedly couldn’t talk about in detail.
