Post Malone Breaks J Cole’s Recently Set First Day Streaming Record

Post Malone has broken J Cole’s first-day streaming record that he literally just set!

Post Malones “Beerbongs & Bentleys” album has hit major success with the release not even being out for a full week.

With that success, the first-day streaming record on Spotify was through the roof. The album has shattered the record both globally (78,744,748) and in the U.S. (47,930,039), according to a tweet from Spotify.

Those numbers put him ahead of J Cole who as of last week with his “KOD” album had 36,656,086 streams in the first 24 hours.

With that, his albums pre-release was already certified platinum before the official release. His single “Rockstar” was number 1 on the Hot 100 and was already 5x platinum, while “Psycho” peaked at No. 2.

This success follows major moves that Post has had during his career. He has become the second rapper after Eminem to have two singles debut within the top two of the Billboard 200.

Given that this album is already doing so well, it is almost a given that it will debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Congrats to Post and all of his success, take a look at him below and let us know what you think!
