As we previously reported, Sha’Carri Richardson accepted a one-month suspension after testing positive for marijuana. Since the announcement, the beloved and fan-favorite athlete has apologized and taken full accountability for her actions.

While appearing on NBC’s “Today” show on Friday, Richardson said, “As much as I’m disappointed, I know that when I step on that track I don’t just represent myself. I represent a community that has shown me great support, great love. I apologize for the fact that I didn’t know how to control my emotions, or deal with my emotions, during that time.”

Despite disappointing some fans, Richardson still has a bunch of people supporting her. Nike, the brand that sponsors her even released a statement saying they will “continue to support her through this time.” Athletes and stars like Odell Beckham Jr, Gabrielle Union, and even Cardi B have shown support. The rap star who‘s known for always showing love to others and uplifting women offered some words of encouragement to the 21-year-old — telling her to take this situation as a lesson, not as a loss.

As a result of her actions, U.S. sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson will be prohibited from running the 100-meter race at the Olympics after a positive marijuana test. However, she could potentially compete in the Olympic relays. It’s unclear whether U.S. Track and Field (USATF) will allow her to compete.

BARDI BEAUTY: Cardi B Reportedly Looking To Lock Down Rights To Her Own Beauty Line!

It looks like Cardi B is working to expand her empire as the superstar is reportedly tapping into the beauty industry!

According to TMZ, the rapper’s company, Washpoppin Inc., recently filed legal docs to lock down the rights to the phrase “Bardi Beauty.” The news site reports that she wants to put the catchy phrase on a ton of different glam products including fragrances, haircare, skincare, nail polish, nail enamel, beauty brushes, and more.

It was also noted that the docs actually include Cardi’s signature with her real name, of course, Belcalis Almanzar — as the CEO of Washpoppin, TMZ reports. #Socialites, would you be here for this?

While this may be Cardi’s real first run at the beauty biz, she does have a great history of selling out her own products fast, so this may be another big success. As we previously, reported, back in 2018, Cardi collaborated with Fashion Nova for her own collection and it sold out in minutes! Not too long ago, her Club C Cardi style sold out on Reebok.com in the U.S. in under 30 minutes, proving her latest collab to be yet another success.

Here’s some great news to mark Women’s History Month! Cardi B’s top-charting breakout single “Bodak Yellow” officially became certified diamond by the RIAA, making her the first female rapper ever to achieve achieve the prestigious milestone!

The RIAA tweeted the big news this morning (March 9), “Congratulations to @iamcardib, the first female rapper to achieve a RIAA 💎 single award! #BodakYellow @AtlanticRecords.” This all means that the track has shifted at least 10 million equivalent units in the U.S. alone.

Cardi released “Bodak Yellow” back in 2017 and it didn’t need much time to take off. After after the track came out, just a few months later the Bronx rapper hit No. 1 on the Hot 100, also making history in the process. Fans online have been celebrating Cardi all over social media. One Twitter user, “Cardi B the first woman to go diamond wit Bodak Yellow, a day after International Woman’s Day?? Goat fr” Another added, “This is historic, Cardi will go down the most successful female rapper – her numbers are unmatched.”

The great news got fans super amped up for her new album that is currently in the works. Earlier this month she revealed that she is in “full album mode.”

What was supposed to be a casual day for Offset and Cardi B turned into a complete nightmare. The rappers were driving through Beverly Hills this Saturday afternoon when they came across a crowd of Trump supporters rallying in the streets.

Moments before this happened, Cardi B expressed concern on her Instagram story, saying she was scared: “Trump supporters are everywhere,” she said adding, “I’m scared… I don’t like it.”

Unfortunately, while Cardi was inside a store shopping, Trump supporters were taunting Offset who was passing by them, with one even banging on his car! Now, instead of helping, cops interrogated Offset, asking him to get out of the car as some Trump supporters claimed he waved a gun at them. Offset, who filmed the moment on Live, refused to get out of the car and that’s when cops began to get aggressive with the star and then dragged him out of his vehicle. They put him in cuffs but clearly, Offset served no real threat to the supporters as he was released shortly after.

To note, Offset was not arrested during the incident. But he did say in his Live that he is planning to sue over the encounter. It is not clear if he plans to move forward.

Cardi B is known for always keeping it 100% real with her fans which is why it comes as to no surprise she’s opening up about why she recently decided to take Offset back.

As we previously reported last month, Cardi filed for divorce from the Migos rapper after three years of marriage. At the time, she explained that they decided to split because they just “grew apart.” Despite all of the drama, it looks like she’s had a change of heart. Fans quickly assumed that Cardi and Offset were back together again after he went all out for her birthday over the weekend. The two were seen dancing and kissing after he gifted her a brand new Rolls Royce.

The 28-year-old superstar appeared to confirm that her divorce is off when she recently hopped on Instagram Live to explain. She said: “You know how I be arguing with y’all on social media, that’s exactly how I be arguing with my man,” Cardi told her followers. “When people be saying I be doing s**t for attention, with this and that, no, I’m just a crazy b***h. One day I’m happy, the next day I wanna beat a nigga up… I just be starting to miss [him]…” She added, “It’s hard not to talk to your best friend. It’s really hard not to talk to your best friend. And it’s really hard to have no d**k.’“

Cardi also hit back at claims that she took him back because of the big gift. “People saying that I took him back and I’m materialistic, I like material things but what do you want me to do? Take a Rolls Royce and then I [ignore] him? No I really wanted a Rolls Royce.”

“We’re just two really young motherf*****s who got married early and that’s what we are. We’re not no different than y’all f*****g dysfunctional a*s relationships. We the same way.”

Cardi and Offset share a precious daughter, 2-year-old Kulture Kiari.

Although Cardi B made the big move to file for divorce from husband Offset of three years, she’s letting fans know not to mess with her family.

The rapper took to Twitter on Thursday to send out several clear messages to trolling fans after one described the Migos member as a “bad man.”

“He a dumbass not a bad man,” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. “…cause out of everybody that tried to steal, finesse me into working with their brand for less he got people coming for me with CORRECT CONTRACTS and never ask for a dollar or benefit like every1  else. Nikkas is nikka but a bad personality he not,” Complex Magazine quotes. In a second deleted tweet, she added, “I don’t talk to him but you not going to disrespect my child father…If he die, go broke, you not the one that’s going to raise my kid & you not the 1 who pays for her s***.”

Cardi had previously praised Offset for being a good man and great father to their daughter, Kulture. When she announced her divorce back in September, she made it clear that their split was not due to infidelity. They simply just “grew apart.”

“I’m OK. I wanted to let y’all know I have not shed not one tear,” she said in an audio message. “Every single time that this guy has been so crazy, so fucked up and it hits the media, I’m always crying, always sad because I don’t like that type of shit,” Cardi said. “This time, I wasn’t crying. You want to know why? The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that shit that ever happened before. It’s not because of cheating. I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.’ That’s a whole fucking complete lie. That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s bullshit.”

Not only are they celebrating the song, but they’re celebrating women empowerment by giving away $1 million via Twitter and Cash App!!

While the full rules are posted on the CashApp website, they are pretty simple. The 2,000 winners will receive $500 each and will be chosen randomly, Variety reports. Now, just minutes after the announcement, fans tweeted that they have received money from the stars. One Twitter user tweeted: “I WAS BLESSED OMG I NEEDED THIS SO BAD 😭🤍 thank you @iamcardib & @theestallion OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! #WAPParty.”

Hollywood Unlocked was in the building as stars came out to Los Angeles to celebrate Cardi B’s surprise 26th birthday party!

Cardi B celebrated her 26th birthday on October 11th, but on Friday night it was time to turn up with a surprise party at Beauty and Essex.

It was really a star-studded event as names like Kourtney Kardashian, Tiffany Haddish, Mona Scott Young, Jennifer Lewis and so many more came out to celebrate the “Bodak Yellow” rapper.

By about 3:00 AM Saturday morning, Cardi made her way up to the party with Offset, she spotted all the guest and said “Oh s–t” as she realized what was going on.

Cardi wore Moschino from head to toe in a pink and white wrap around dress with matching tights and hat which was fitting given designer Jeremy Scott was also one of the guests.

By the time Cardi and Offset made it to their table, it was time for gifts. Offset gifted Cardi a matching diamond necklace and bracelet that said Kulture.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful wife, you know what I’m saying?” Offset said. “God is good. We just had a beautiful daughter, Kulture. We just had a daughter so I got you this little gift.”

Cardi being very surprised responded, “Oh my God! This is too much!”

Nicki Minaj and Safaree sent social media into a storm this week with their Twitter beef. The back and forth tweeting soon escalated to the topic of Safaree’s fake hairline, that Nicki claims she bought.

Jason says he loves Nicki and that “Queen” is a great album, but, he can’t listen to it straight through like Cardi B’s album. However, Jason adds there is so much “sneak dissing” in Nicki’s album that it downplays the greatness. Not to mention an artist claims that Nicki stole her music for her song “Barbie Dreams.”

Our hosts believe that Nicki should embrace women uniting and do a song with Cardi to shut down all the beef and involve all the other upcoming female rappers, but, it will not happen until Nicki humbles herself.
