Nene Leakes is never the one to shy away from anything which is why it comes as to no surprise that she’s addressing a big rumor that has been floating around for weeks!

As we previously reported, Leakes made headlines back in September after she announced that she will not be returning to “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” While the news shocked many, it didn’t for talk show host Wendy Williams who was more curious to know what she’ll be doing after her exit. Williams said in an interview with Andy Cohen that it would be “boring” for Leakes to have a spin-off show about her life. After catching her comment, Leakes lashed out at the two on Twitter. Somehow, that later led to Williams’ good friend Madina Milana speaking out to defend Williams against Leakes! The “Growing Up Hip-Hop: New York” star posted a video to Instagram where she called the reality star out and revealed that Leakes allegedly let rapper French Montana play with her lady parts.

Leakes didn’t pay the comment any mind at the time but she recently addressed the big rumor on “The Real.” During her appearance, host Garcelle Beauvais brought the topic up. She said, “NeNe, you are always making headlines. Have you heard from French? Is this true? Give me the details. Give me the tea.” Leakes, 52, laughed before saying, “Honey…Light-skinned French Montana? Honeeeey. Not my type, ok? I love French. He’s super fun. He showed me a lot of love, but he’s not my type of guy.” She continued to joke, “So I didn’t get a chance to cheat on Gregg. Dang,” she quipped. “No, there’s always rumors about me doing something.”

She went on to say,

“When you’ve been with somebody as long as I’ve been with Gregg for 25 years, you know your mate, you know what they will do and what they won’t do,” she said on the show. “Like Gregg, I know his type and I bet he knows mine. And with French Montana —  I think Gregg would be like, ‘Chile, bye.'”

Nene and Gregg met back in 1996 and married six months later. They welcomed son Brentt in 1999. While their relationship went downhill, leading to a divorce in 2011, they reconciled a year later and remarried in 2013.

Claudia Jordan Calls NeNe Leakes Out Over Excuse For Not Attending Cynthia Bailey’s Wedding

Earlier this week, NeNe Leakes took to Instagram to tease her new gossip-based talk show “The Read Session.” The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star dished on Tyra Banks rumors and why she decided not to attend Cynthia Bailey’s big wedding earlier this month.

The 52-year-old first addressed rumors that she wanted to be paid to attend Cynthia’s wedding. “Did I ask for the money??” NeNe exclaimed. “First of all, all I know about Cynthia wedding is the pictures and things that I’ve seen on the blogs like all of you guys have.” She went on to confirm that she was invited. “I was invited to the wedding, I think Cynthia even publicly came out and said she invited me to the wedding. I chose not to go to the wedding.” She went on to say, “Listen, I’m very happy for her. I was with her when she took her first date out here in Atlanta with Mike Hill. I was there, I was the third wheel. I wish them nothing but happiness.” NeNe then explained why she chose to skip the wedding entirely: “I’m in a different place in my life where I just didn’t think going to her wedding was going to benefit me in any kind of way.”

It looks like former RHOA star Claudia Jordan caught wind of NeNe’s clips and, let’s just say she’s not here for her reason for not showing up for Cynthia, who she once called her “good friend.” The Fox Soul host commented under an article posted by The Jasmine Brand, saying: “It didn’t benefit any of the guests to come- If we didn’t care about Cynthia and Mike. But when you care about someone “it benefits you” plenty to see them happy and smile and you “get” something out of that. I love seeing people happy. Even people I don’t rock with anymore.” Claudia added, “Let’s not be so busy trying to show how unbothered we are that we make a fool outta ourselves. Bad answer. Just say you couldn’t make it or felt [uncomfortable] going. Too many people making this wedding about THEM.” Now, that wasn’t all Miss Claudia had to say!

In an even lengthier comment, Claudia clowned her over her “Piss Poor” new show:

Fans noticed that NeNe replied under that same post but to laugh with a fan who mentioned Claudia and said: “I see why that n*gga whipped your ass, go get your corns off your toes fixed.” Now, here’s what Claudia had to say about that:

While celebrating the premiere of the 8th season of her own reality series “Don’t Be Tardy…” Kim Zolciak-Biermann reflected on her “Real Housewives of Atlanta” days and revealed if she would ever return.

When asked if she would consider going back to ”RHOA” where she was one of the main cast members for the first five seasons, she admitted that she’d actually been thinking a bit about her time on the hit show. Kim told E!, “This has kind of just come to my mind over the last couple months, that the first season, all of us — Shereé [Whitfield], Nene [Leakes] and I—[we] were friends before this ever started for years.” She went on to explain what she would like to see happen: “They should just bring back the whole cast from season 1 and like, ‘Where are we now?’” the 42-year-old suggested. “Like, go out to dinner and do this all over again. Because I think we’re really fun, you know, in all honesty.”

Although some fans would love to see her back on, Kim said she doesn’t see any point in coming back now with the current cast: “As far as going back now, for what? For who? No. Shereé’s not there. NeNe’s not there. Like, no,” she added, referring to her former RHOA castmates.

NeNe Leakes will not be returning to the franchise also as she recently made the big announcement earlier this month while sharing that she has been receiving unfair treatment.

The reality star diva hopped on Instagram Live Friday to let us know how she’s been coping with the new normal of being in quarantine. Nene was also kind enough to give us a tour of her super big Georgia mansion, just right before she and HU’s Jason Lee got into some thangs!

Now, those who have been keeping up with NeNe know that she recently dropped a song titled “Come And Get This, Hunni.” The new track has been getting pretty good feedback so far and Jason wanted to know how it all came together. The star shared that she began working on it two months ago and even teamed up with OG rapper Lady Luck to help write it! When asked why co-star Kandi Burruss wasn’t apart of the project since she’s also a singer and songwriter, NeNe explained why it wasn’t such a good idea. Aside from that, NeNe briefly talked about what’s been going on between her and her other co-star, Eva Marcille.

Although Nene didn’t want to waste her precious time talking about her Marcille, she did let us know:

“I don’t have a problem with her. I don’t even want to talk about her because she’s not on my level,” Nene said.

Wendy Williams opened up about the treatment she and RHOA star Nene Leakes received during a shopping trip at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.

According to the Daily Mail, Wendy Williams dedicated a portion of her “Hot Topics” segment to discuss the treatment she, Nene Leakes, and Marlo Hampton received during a shopping trip at Bergdorf Goodman. The trio went shopping Sunday and bought various clothing items when Bergdorf’s employees started racially profiling them:

‘Can I tell you about the security? They treated us like the hood…that they treated US. We were followed, and not with a lit credit card followed, followed like the security might have to do something.’

Williams emphasized that despite their success in media, it was still wasn’t enough to prevent being racially profiled at the high-end store:

Wendy closed out the segment with a photo of herself, Leakes, and Hampton stating she was told she couldn’t post the image due to the incident:

 ‘So when this place [the studio] tells me I can’t post this picture, I’m like ”You know what, I’m going to post on hot topics then and I’m going to say how it is’

So far, Bergdorf’s did not release a statement in reference to the incident.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Wendy Williams Show, host Wendy Williams claimed that she had gotten a surprising text message from NeNe Leakes during her commercial break. Apparently, it said that the reality star was quitting the show “Real Housewives Of Atlanta.”

“I took a break between commercials, my office is right there behind the set. I had to go to the bathroom and so I looked at my phone between commercials. And NeNe texts, ‘I’m quitting,’ ” Williams, 55, told guest Jerry O’Connell, adding that she got the text at exactly 9:08 a.m. “I’m surprised I got it because I have no service in my office, but I got it.”

It seemed pretty believable as the two are very good friends. However, according to updated l reports, Nene is not leaving the show. The 52-year-old also took to Instagram to react to the news by posting a picture of her self with the caption,
