Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty Reportedly Pleads Guilty To Failure To Register As A Sex Offender
According to documents obtained by Page Six, Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, pleaded guilty during a virtual court hearing on Thursday to a charge of failure to register as a sex offender in California.
As it was previously reported, Petty was convicted of attempting to rape a 16-year-old girl back in 1994 and was already registered as a sex offender in New York. He moved out of the state after marrying the rap star in October 2019.
Petty was later arrested in March 2020 after he was ordered to register as a sex offender in California but allegedly failed to do so. The 43-year-old initially said he was not guilty. However, his new move appears to be part of a plea deal that he signed with the Assistant United States Attorney back in August.
As a result of all of this, Petty is now facing up to 10 years in prison and a lifetime of supervised release, Page Six reports.
