UPDATE: Paris Hilton Denies She’s Pregnant

Earlier today, Page Six reported that Paris Hilton was expecting her first child with her fiancé, Carter Reum.

As the news site noted, the pair have been open about wanting to start a family together, with Hilton, 40, revealing in January that she had been undergoing IVF treatments. However, according to updated reports, she doesn’t have a bun cooking in the oven just yet.

She tweeted, “Woke up to thousands of texts about all the pregnancy news this morning. I want you to hear it all directly from me. Listen now @ThisIsParisPodcast (link in bio!)

The “Simple Life” alum, 40, simply shut down rumors that she is expecting a baby with her fiancébduring an episode of her “This is Paris” podcast. She said, “The only thing in the oven at the moment is my ‘Sliving Lasagna,’” she quipped, plugging her upcoming Netflix show, “Cooking With Paris,” while using a word she famously coined to combine “slaying” and “living.”

Hilton, 40, and Reum, also 40, got engaged in February after dating for a year. Despite their short time together and Paris’ previous engagements, the superstar labeled him her soulmate.

“When you find your soulmate, you don’t just know it. You feel it,” she wrote on Instagram when she made her engagement announcement. “My love and I have been together since our first date and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to a tropical paradise. As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee. I said yes, yes to forever. There’s no one I’d rather spend forever with.”

On Monday, Paris Hilton spoke publicly to a state congressional committee in Utah in support of a bill that would enact stricter regulations on private institutions like Provo Canyon School — where the superstar says she experienced years of abuse as a teen by the facility’s staff.

During her emotional opening statement, the heiress called on President Biden to denounce child abuse in schools along with Utah leaders, Sen. Schumer, Speaker Pelosi, and VP Harris to take action.

“My name is Paris Hilton, I am an institutional abuse survivor and I speak today on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of children currently in residential care facilities across the United States,” she said in her testimony to the Utah Senate Judiciary, Law Enforcement, and Criminal Justice Committee. “For the past 20 years, I have had a recurring nightmare where I’m kidnapped in the middle of the night by two strangers, strip-searched, and locked in a facility. I wish I could tell you that this haunting nightmare was just a dream, but it is not.” PEOPLE quotes. She went on to say, “I was verbally, mentally, and physically abused on a daily basis. I was cut off from the outside world and stripped of all my human rights.”

“Without a diagnosis, I was forced to consume medication that made me feel numb and exhausted. I didn’t breathe fresh air or see the sunlight for 11 months. There was zero privacy — every time I would use the bathroom or take a shower — it was monitored,” she alleged. “At 16 years old — as a child — I felt their piercing eyes staring at my naked body. I was just a kid and felt violated every single day.”

Before concluding she added, “I tell my story not so that anyone feels bad for me, but to shine a light on the reality of what happened then and is still happening NOW,” she said. “The people who work at, run, and fund these programs should be ashamed of themselves. How can people live with themselves knowing this abuse is happening?”

The 39-year-old urged the Utah senators to pass the bill, SB127, in hopes of reining in the alleged bad behavior and instituting more oversight, TMZ notes.

Paris previously made an attempt to speak out about the “fake voice” she felt obliged to put on in previous interviews. Back in 2016, she appeared on the Today Show in America, where the hosts presenters quizzed her about the sudden change in her voice.
