Pete Davidson Is ‘No Longer’ Going To Space As Blue Origin’s 20th Mission
Looks Pete Davidson will remain grounded as he will no longer fly into space on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket later this month.

The SNL comedian who recently announced that he will be joining the flight scheduled for March 23, has since dropped out after the launch date was pushed back to March 29.
“Blue Origin’s 20th flight of New Shepard has shifted to Tuesday, March 29,” reads a statement from Blue Origin. “Pete Davidson is no longer able to join the NS-20 crew on this mission. We will announce the sixth crew member in the coming days.”
Meanwhile, five paying customers are still set to go on the flight. They include investor and the former CEO of a party supply store, Marty Allen; Jim Kitchen, an entrepreneur and business professor; George Nield, a former associate administrator for the Federal Aviation Administration Office of Commercial Space Transportation; Marc Hagle, an Orlando real estate developer and his wife, Sharon Hagle, who founded a space-focused nonprofit, CNN notes.
It’s unclear who will be the celebrity guest replacing Pete or if Jeff Bezos has any plans to do so. Other celebrities like Star Trek star William Shatner and Good Morning America host Michael Strahan were recently a part of Blue Origins space mission and both successfully made it to space.
