Hollywood is speaking out after victims have come forward about their sexual assaults from filmmaker Harvey Weinstein.
We have been reporting for the past few days that Hollywood filmmaker Harvey Weinstein has been caught in various sexual assault allegations.
Earlier today, we recounted the stories that come from Angelina Jolie And Gwyneth Paltrow.
However, another name has spoken out about the assault that he received.
Everybody Hates Chris star Terry Crews took to Twitter today to talk about his experience.
“This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD,” he began, adding, “Because this kind of thing happened to ME.”
Crews stated that the assault took place at a “Hollywood function” he attended with his wife last year. After an unnamed “high level” executive “groped my privates,” the actor said he jumped back in surprise.
“He just grinned like a jerk,” Crews continued. However, he did say that he did not react fast due to the views that he would receive.
“’240 lbs. Black Man stomps out Hollywood Honcho’ would be the headline the next day,” he wrote.“everyone I knew that worked with him,” but eventually let it go because he didn’t want to be “ostracized.”
“I understand why many women who this happens to let it go,” Crews said, before ending on a positive note. “Hopefully, me coming forward with my story will deter a predator and encourage someone who feels hopeless.”
Take a look at all of his tweets below and let us know what you think about this entire situation.
