Tupac Biopic scores big for weekend box office.
As expected, Tupac’s biopic film, “All Eyez On Me,” hit the box office strong. The biopic racked in $27M at the weekend box office, according to Deadline. The impressive number shocked the industry after passing it’s projections.
The film scored $12 million on the opening day, Tupac Shakur’s birthday. The Lionsgate’s Codeblack Film exceeded it’s expectation and started projecting an opening weekend of $30 million, but came in very close.
Despite all the critics and backlash it has received, people are still going out to see the film, and the numbers will continue to grow and possibly pass their expected mark.
