Cincinnati authorities have issued a warrant out for the arrest of superstar boxing champ Adrien Broner in connection with an alleged robbery and assault outside of a bowling alley.
TMZ reported that the incident took place back in January, and the alleged victim told authorities that the boxer had lost thousands of dollars in bowling bets and was pissed when the alleged victim decided to call it a night and go home with his winnings. Authorities were informed that Broner then waited outside of the alley and punched him in the face and neck almost knocking the alleged victim out.According to court documents, before leaving the scene, Broner then retrieved a handgun from his vehicle, approached the victim and demanded money, then the boxer reportedly struck the victim in the face with a closed fist for a second time. The second blow caused the victim to be rendered unconscious. Witnesses stated that Broner took money out of the victim’s pockets while he was unconscious. The victim was hospitalized and treated for a gash on his chin. Broner is facing felony assault and robbery charges.
