Kanye West had four upcoming music artist in mind for his brand new ‘Yeezy x Adidas’ collection editorial in CR Fashion book! According to Ye these rising artist embody the fearless spirit of his debut collection which is exactly why he hand selected them for this portfolio. So by now your wondering who it was that is qualified enough to serve as a model for Mr. West? Well starting with ladies first you have new Chicago born artist Tink who’s remake of Aaliyah’s ‘Million’ is blazing the charts right now! Tink tells CR Fashion Book ““My album is a day in the life of a normal human being, and that’s why I know it’s going to connect because I’m not dancing around the truth”.

Next up we have another Chicago born artist- Vic Mensa who’s hit record ‘U Mad’ happens to feature Kanye. Mensa shares his kanye-esque philosophy with CR stating “My mom raised me to question authority. I’ve never been good with it. The idea of respecting something because that’s the way it is never resonated with me. I don’t know how to bow down.”

Next up is a new Chicago artist, 32 year old Holt who happens to be signed to Yeezy’s G.O.O. D. Music label. Holt had this to say- “I was signed previously as a rapper but I don’t rap at all anymore. This music I’m producing has no genre yet. I’m sure people are going to put it into one, but I won’t. I just make sounds.”

The last artist to make the Yeezy cut is none other than breakout star Fetty Wap! The only one on the roster not from Yeezy’s native Chicago (he’s actually from Paterson, NJ), Fetty lets CR know “I’m not trying to send a message—just my sound, my vision, my art”.

It’s definitely clear why Kanye selected these new artists! For the full editorial head over to CR Fashion Book! What are your thoughts?
