Reportedly, this Monday morning, an 8-year-old girl is suspected in the death of a 1-year-old boy, both of whom were left unsupervised in a home day care in Michigan.
Identified by the owner, Keysha Collins, the body of the 1-year-old was found covered in a bedroom of the daycare center, “Keysha Keepers.”
The boy’s mother, Bryanna Reasonover, says she saw bruises on his face when she went to pick him up, and said that she found her son’s body in a playpen when she went to pick up the other three children that she had dropped off the previous night.
However, the suspect involved with the incident is an eight-year-old girl, who stated she did it to “deal with the baby crying.”
Muskegon Police Chief Jeffrey Lewis stated that, “The primary witness is only 5 years old, and he did not know a cause of death.” Authorities tried CPR to revive the toddler, but were unsuccessful.
The 8-year-old was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation, where she is currently getting help, but it is not clear where she will be placed.
