10-Year-Old Student With Special Needs Severely Bitten On School Bus
WBAY reports that a young girl who attends Green Bay elementary school in Wisconsin, returned home with multiple bruises on her arm after reportedly being bitten by a student on the school bus.
The girl has been identified as Lillian Waldron. Her mother adds that she is developmentally delayed and cannot speak.
“She can’t tell them to stop. She couldn’t get away, because she’s in a five-point harness car seat. She just had to sit there and take it and the bus driver wasn’t stopping,” Waldron’s mother said.
Waldron’s parents added that even the school principal was shocked and described the footage as “gruesome and horrifying to look at.”
School district Superintendent Michelle Langenfeld also reached out, “Several administrators and myself immediately reached out to the family and met with them to address their concerns and provide support to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our student.”
The student who inflicted the wounds has been banned from the school.
